A practice room, not a backing track
A recorded backing track plays one tune, in one key, at one tempo. This band reads the chart, so it plays whatever you ask for.
See every chord on the neck
Click any chord for its arpeggio, its function in the key, and the scale that fits. Switch to guide tones to see just the 3rds and 7ths that carry the harmony.
Hear it with a real band
Sampled piano, upright bass and brushes, playing swing, bossa or ballad. The piano moves between chord voicings the way a real comper does.
Any key, any tempo
Transpose the whole tune with a click, or with [ and ]. Drag the tempo down to learn it and back up to play it.
Loop the hard part
Press Loop and click the first and last chords of a bridge or a turnaround. The band repeats just those bars until you own them.
Build speed gradually
The tempo trainer adds a few beats per minute every chorus until you reach the tempo you set.
Test your memory
Hide the chart, or reveal each chord only as it is played, and find out whether you really know the changes.
