Circle of Fifths
Click any key on the circle — major on the outside, its relative minor inside — to see the diatonic chords in that key.
Major keys follow the pattern I, ii, iii, IV, V, vi, vii° (with sevenths: Imaj7, ii7, iii7, IVmaj7, V7, vi7, viiø7). Minor keys use the natural-minor chords; the v is usually made major (V, or V7 from harmonic minor) for a stronger pull home. For the full walkthrough, read the Circle of Fifths lesson.
